Spice of Raj is conveniently nearby Colliers Wood station and is a favourite restaurant of me and my local friends. The food is always excellent and delivers all I want from an indian restaurant. There's a nice range of delicious warming curries and other treats, and all for a pretty reasonable price. In this area there's a fair few indian restaurants so it's nice to have one so local that I can just nip down the road to for a take away, that actually delivers. The service is always impeccable and the waiters and owner(s) ? are always very friendly and accomodating. The (somewhat small) restaurant itself is rather pleasant with a very at home and cosy feel, which is a very positive thing in my view! An ideal location and tasty, plentiful portions make this a perfect eatery and convenient take away spot. ( They gave me a free calendar too!)
My partner and I absolutely love this Indian restaurant. We are always greeted by very friendly staff. The food is served quickly, but they also give you room and time to sit and chat and enjoy the experience. The food is very tasty with good-sized portions and the meals are very good value.
